1.0 OBJECTIVE
1.1 The overall objective of the Ethical Procurement Policy is to ensure that ATS Plastics Ltd are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner.
1.2 We enforce the highest possible ethical standards and expect our suppliers of goods and services to also enforce these standards. We reserve the right to check the ethical standing of all our suppliers in relation to any of the principles expressed in this policy.
2.1 ETHICS STATEMENT
2.1 ATS will only do business with organisations that share our commitment to methods of working which are ethical, protect the environment and don’t infringe human rights and labour regulations.
2.2 This policy applies to all employees of ATS and subsidiary companies.
3.0 ETHICAL WORKING COMMITMENTS
3.1 HUMAN RIGHTS
3.1.1 ATS Plastics Ltd will support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights within their sphere of influence.
3.1.2 ATS Plastics Ltd will ensure that it is not complicit in human right abuses, including Modern Slavery which is detailed in our Modern Slavery Policy details (ATSP006).
3.1.3 ATS Plastics Ltd acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with all suppliers and services used directly by the organisation. This also includes the suppliers or services which make up the supply chain within Air Technology Systems Limited and any subsidiary companies.
3.2 LABOUR STANDARDS
3.2.1 ATS Plastics Ltd shall uphold freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
3.2.2 ATS Plastics Ltd will not accept or be complicit in any form of forced and compulsory labour, within its own operations or supply chain.
3.2.3 ATS Plastics Ltd will not accept or be complicit in allowing any child labour within its own operations or supply chain.
3.2.4 Eliminate discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
3.3 ENVIRONMENT
3.3.1 ATS Plastics Ltd has developed a Corporate Social Responsibility Policy Statement (ATSP004) and an Environmental Policy Statement (ATSP003) which defines its commitments to the environment and initiatives to take greater environmental responsibility.
3.3.2 ATS Plastics Ltd requires its supply chain to support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges and a commitment to take greater environmental responsibility.
3.4 ANTI-CORRUPTION
3.4.1 ATS Plastics Ltd and all businesses it interacts with must work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
3.4.2 All employees must sign our Anti -Bribery & Corruption Policy (EM011) as a condition of employment.
3.4.3 Supplier of relevant goods and services must sign up to our Code of Conduct (HS009) which outlines our expectations. All suppliers must sign up as a condition to working with us to comply with this Policy.
